Ciara Walton is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in coaching, People and culture, and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB). As the Founder and Principal Consultant of Cultural Architects, LLC, she is dedicated to transforming workplace cultures through a commitment to equity, inclusivity, and holistic well-being.

Ciara excels in coaching and leadership development, offering customized mentorship that enhances leadership skills, fosters resilience, and drives goal attainment. Her approach promotes self-reflection and growth, helping individuals and teams unlock their full potential while navigating challenges.

In the realm of DEIB, Ciara specializes in developing and implementing comprehensive strategies, speaking engagement on DEI-related topics, facilitating impactful training, and best practices around creating psychologically safe “brave spaces” for dialogue. Her work challenges biases, cultivates empathy, and drives cultural change to ensure all staff feel valued and empowered.

Who Is Ciara?

Florida native and local New York City resident Ciara’s passion for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEl) was amplified while working in Public Schools and organizing around health equity. After understanding how policy impacts change, she became an activist and grassroots organizer, advocating for high-quality K-12 education, disability rights, and civil and social justice issues.

“I’ve always centered my work around the true definition of equity. With equity as my moral compass, I center practices of Anti-Oppression and Anti-Racism to acknowledge the intersections of people’s identities and assist in shifting attitudes, behaviors, and beliefs.

As a cultural architect and conduit of change, it’s imperative to create spaces of inclusion and belonging. I do this by listening to the voices and needs of the communities I serve as a partnership. I evaluate systems, develop frameworks, build initiatives, and set a vision that centers around my values. I coach and inspire others in making transformational change while also intentionally confronting the nomenclature of unjust systems and processes.”
